The transfer to Oberblegisee is quite long: first a one-hour drive by minivan to Luchsingen, then a cable car to the Brunnenberg, and finally a steep one-hour hike (400 meters of altitude). But the scenery at this quiet mountain lake on 1420 meters above sea level is just spectacular. The rock faces at the sing a sweet echo that turns your first contact with the alphorn into a life-changing experience. For the lunch break, we can walk to the cozy Bächibeizli restaurant – one of the tenants also plays the alphorn but will probably be too buzy to join us. Overall, one of our favorite tours.

Option to spend the night at Bösbächi Alp (close to Bächibeizli) and watch the dairyman make cheese in the morning.
