The Rossalp is located at 1570 m above sea level and offers an incomparable view over the lower Lake Zurich. At the end of an alphorn afternoon, you can watch the sunset here. We take the minibus to Wengi. There we can expect an ascent of about 1h15′ (400 meters in altitude) to the restaurant Obere Rossalp. On the way there we practice on the alphorn, so that we already master the first melodies when we arrive at the alp.

If you wish, you can also spend the night in the restaurant’s dormitory and crown the sunset with a simple dinner. Those with appropriate alpine experience may want to climb mount Speer (at your own risk…).
