The Glattalp offers everything you can expect from a day with the alphorn in the Alps. Its mountain lake and the echo in the middle of the steep rock faces create an incomparable experience. In winter one of the coldest places in Switzerland, a visit is refreshing even in summer. After a one-hour drive to the Muotathal, a cable car takes us to 1852 meters above sea level. We will find many great spots to practice the alphorn around the lake. For lunch, a cosy mountain restaurant is ideal; alternatively, we bring the food ourselves. Note that the restaurant only accepts cash.

With an overnight stay in the Glattalphütte, the tour can be extended into an unforgettable two-day experience – alphorn at sunset included.
