Bannalp is a hidden gem and the perfect destination for an Alphorn Day. After a one-hour drive to Oberrickenback, a gondola lift takes us to the Chrützhütte at 1718 meters above sea level. We can stay there, spend some time playing at the Bannsee or hike to the spectacular Alp Oberfeld (45 Minutes from Bannsee, 250 meters up) which is famous for its echo. You can bring your own lunch or have it at one of the restaurants in the area.

Note: Bannalp is also a great place for two-day excursions with a night at Chrützhütte; couples and small families can also book a room at Alp Oberfeld.
