You will shortly receive an email with a confirmation of your booking. Remember that this is an advance booking. If weather conditions force us to cancel a tour, you receive a voucher with which you can book another tour free of charge. 

Our public tours start and end at Bahnhof Zürich Wollishofen; we meet in front of the restaurant “Peking Garden” on the Western exit of the railway station (see map below).  Wollishofen can easily be reached by tram #7, bus or train. It’s also a pleasant walk along the lake from Bürkliplatz. As it is located at the border of Zürich we avoid much of the morning traffic and get out of town smoothly. 

A day in the alps can have surprises. Make sure you have a warm pullover and a jacket that protects you from the elements. Don’t forget sun screen. However, don’t take too much with you as you need to carry your alphorn and space in our minibus is limited. Best you bring a light shopping bag with your stuff – you can put this into the alphorn bag that we provide for the day.

On some excursions we hike through the mountains and make several stops to play the alphorn – see the description of your tour for an estimate of walking time.  Keep in mind that you carry your alphorn on your back. The carrier bag with the alphorn weighs about 5kg and is 1m long.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, it is possible to eat at a restaurant. However, you are always free to bring your own lunch.
